Advanced pre-/post processer solutions specialized for engine, gearbox, brake system.
The core of the advanced product is a newly developed pre- and postprocessor that allows the reduction of the time spend for finite element modeling. It widely takes over the CAD features, provides a fast meshing by using these features without having the need to clean-up the CAD geometry in a time consuming way. Finally it has comprehensive functionality to build complex assemblies in a very short time in an automated way.
It offers specialised automation functionality for the following applications:

For NVH
Starting from a CAD model or a fine structural model the bore holes of interest are automatically identified and are preserved together with other relevant areas like ribs to get a good mesh there and the rest of the component is meshed with a coarse mesh.

Ribs can be added in the FE model without having to go back to the CAD system

Contacts between components are being generated automatically via templates

Automatic creation of NVH bolts as MPC´s

Elimination of overlapping areas and filling of cavities which occure on assembling plastics parts of an intake manifold which is designed for fusion welding

Generation of a very coarse mesh with the wrapper mesher e.g. for an acoustic analysis.
