Engines for Rail, Marine, Automotive, Off-highway, Stationary and Industrial Applications
Engine professionals know that an ASME Internal Combustion Engine Conference is the place to get carefully-reviewed, leading-edge information needed to be competitive. We know your time is valuable, so we pack a lot of information into a two day technical program, and include a technical tour on day three so you can see how our industry works.
This conference addresses the design, development and application of compression-ignition, spark ignition, rotary and reciprocating engines. Technical areas covered at the Internal Combustion Engine Conference include:
We also schedule multiple networking opportunities into the conference because we know our conference attendees need to do business.
Call For Papers
The 2010 Fall Technical Conference of the ASME Internal Combustion Engine Division will be held in historic San Antonio, Texas, from September 12-15th. In addition to an interesting two-day technical program, the conference participants will have the opportunity to tour either the San Antonio Toyota Tundra Plant or two Southwest Research Institute Technical Divisions: Engine, Emissions and Vehicle Research; and Fuels and Lubricants Research.
Papers are invited for publication and presentation on all topics related to automotive, marine, locomotive, off-highway, and industrial internal combustion engines. Papers may address any aspect of the design, development or application of compression-ignition, spark-ignition, rotary, or reciprocating engines. Light-duty and heavy-duty engines, as well as large-bore internal combustion engine systems for power generation and transportation propulsion are welcome
It is anticipated that technical sessions will span the wide range from fundamental research to practical in-use applications. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to, Engine Design, Advanced Engine Technologies, Fuels and Combustion, Instrumentation & Controls, Lubrication & Friction, Environment and End User Applications. Papers dealing with timely subjects such as MY 2010 on-highway diesel engines, Tier III locomotives, low temperature combustion, biofuels, emissions control systems, as well as instrumentation and control strategies to meet future emission standards are particularly encouraged.
Authors of all accepted papers are expected to present at the conference. Papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM. Papers may also be submitted for publication in the Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power. Exceptional written papers and presentations will be considered for ASME ICE Division Conference awards. ASME review and publication policies will apply. The conference website, www.asmeconferences.org/ICEF2010/, will be activated shortly to accept your 400-word (or less) abstract in text format.
